Sand Painting

Yesterday when I looked out my window I saw Joe Mangrum laying sand on the sidewalk.  All day people paused to talk with him. Children skidded to a stop on their scooters. Later in the day a photographer and some conspicuous modern furniture arrived on the curb. I suspect a catalog photo shoot.
